LILY CHAN

Hello! My name is Lily Chan. I'm a Filipino-Chinese American who was born and raised in the state of Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I'm currently a freelance illustrator with ambitions to work at an animation studio.

In 2017, I graduated from Leeward Community College's Character Animation program. After graduating, I found that there were a lot of roles in the industry that I was really interested in. Since then, it's been a journey trying on different hats to figure out which one I'd like to commit to.

So far, I've worked as a storyboard artist, comic artist, concept artist, and illustrator.

 

I love taking on jobs geared toward inspiring learning and kindness in children and young adults. For example, I’ve done two projects that had the goal of teaching language and literacy, which is something that I’m passionate about as someone who loves reading and as a learner of Japanese.
